Visual Basic 6 - Fundamentals
This 3-day course introduces you as a developer to the fundamentals of Microsoft Visual Basic Version 6. Visual Basic in now Microsoft's flag ship development tool, and is part of Microsoft's Developer Studio suite of products. You will learn the fundamental skills required to develop applications using Visual Basic and ActiveX components. In addition you will be introduced to Event Driven and Object Oriented programming techniques.

Target Audience:
This course is deigned as a primer for developers and consultants intending to utilise Microsoft Visual Basic to develop Client/Server Database applications, web based applications, and/or Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Project) applications. The course may also be beneficial to network support professionals intending to use visual basic as a scripting tool to manage or automate administration procedures in an NT environment.
Prerequisites:
- Programming Experience Using other Languages, Tools, or 4GL's
- Experience using either Windows-95, Windows-98, or Windows NT Workstation 4
- Experience using any Windows based Applications such as Word, or Excel
- Understanding of Basic PC Networking
- Knowledge of very basic SQL is in advantage
- No prior Knowledge of Visual Basic is expected or assumed
