Introduction to Visual Basic.Net programming with Microsoft.Net

This five-day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to develop applications in Microsoft Visual Basic® .NET for the Microsoft .NET platform. The course focuses on user interfaces, program structure, language syntax, and implementation details.

  • Understanding and working with classes
  • Handling Errors and Exceptions
  • Using the debugger and handling exceptions
  • Enhancing the User Interface
  • Web Forms and XML Web Services
  • Working with Web forms & using XML Web services
  • Using ADO.NET
  • Deploying Applications
Prerequisites:
  1. Programming Experience Using other Languages, Tools, or 4GL's
  2. Experience using either Windows-95, Windows-98, or Windows NT Workstation 4
  3. Experience using any Windows based Applications such as Word, or Excel
  4. Understanding of Basic PC Networking
  5. Knowledge of very basic SQL is in advantage
  6. No prior Knowledge of Visual Basic is expected or assumed
